IMHO best reason to get the wii version:
The tilt function in the game. By tilting the guitar up and down (wii controller worked in the model to look as the bridge) you can change the notes frequencie (tone height) while making games in the creation studio. This addes way more notes! Offcourse the other versions will have a way of doing this but I think the wii version will have the most effective and cool way! I don't think the ps3 controller will be build in the guitar;) |
I'm sure that's true, but I am more sure that there will be a game-only option available at launch. They have 2+ million people that already have hardware for their game, some with potentially 2 guitars already. With putting as much effort into the rest of the game as they are, I should hope they wouldn't want to do anything that would hurt their sales chances.
Also, because of the previous sales, I am guessing they will have plenty of standalone instruments at launch - the only reason there was a shortage before was because they weren't sure of the sales they should expect... now they have a better idea.
