Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.
1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.
PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.

I'm glad PSP is doing well in Japan. I just hope it translates into good PSP games coming the U.S.
PSP is slowly taking over SW wise now....after the HW takeover.

I want to know where MGS goes.... my bet is it will be close to that PSP game.

Oh, we have... remember the Gameboy and Pokemon 
I´d expect the DS to catch up later this year, though... not only because of Dragon Quest, there will be some interesting announcements at E3.
Sony is really dong a great job with the PSP now, though. You really have to give them credit for that.
Luckliy its on the PSP :P I wonder if it will be #1 or 2 this week ( depending on the drop of MGS4 ) . Hardware wise it will definatly be in lead ;)
