a better thread would be how MUCH money has MS spent on dev so far this gen, because my worry is sony isnt bying exclusives or even timed exclusives at all, while ms is trowing cash around to everyone.

Capcom has been very open about releasing everything they can multi-plat. I think it's safe to assume that neither Sony nor MS is paying them anything for their games.

Companies usually don't get all huggy and kissy like that without money involved somewhere... Especially large publishers like Konami.
It boils down to a few things:
1. Konami didn't have enough staff to complete a 360 version day-and-date
2. Konami didn't feel 360 sales would be high enough to make up for the additional dev costs
3. Sony moneyhatted Konami
I think it's pretty easy to point out which one makes the most sense.
