I suspect that a lot of the sales from next week will be "rebound" from this week. That is, people waited this week to buy their systems next week to get a good deal, and PS3 sales were way down this week because of it.

The Walmart $100 gift card deal will have a bigger effect than MGS4. I think we'll see about 200k sales for the PS3, perhaps challenging the Wii for a week before returning to the cellar.

There's....no possible way that can happen. When the numbers say differently here, will you say "I'll wait for NPD" or will you accept that you were wrong?

It would have been a better idea to call out individual people instead of saying "Sony fans". I don't think any reasonable person thinks that the PS3 will catch the 360 in total WW sales by the end of this year.

I´m thinking about 90K/100K as well....really really doubt it´ll outsell the Wii...it couldn´t with GTA IV, what makes it possible it will with MGS4?

On a side note, JGarret is getting a 360 next week, along with several games.
