She didn't say they didn't have a strategy, she said they were copying Nintendo....

You always imitate the best, that is a valid strategy and one heavilly used in many industries...


It means they don't have their own strategy, which is the same thing as having no strategy since they don't really know what Nintendo's strategy is. They're like a drunk handicapped guy trying to outrun an olympic athlete.

How many of those are "hardcore" ?? I say atleast half.


And thats more then what the PS3 have sold so far.

Ubisoft seems to be generalizing and painting in broad strokes across PSP and Wii platforms. In essence, about 60,000,000 gamers should be insulted by these comments, because not only did he tell us what molds we fit into, but he did so in a way that is total BS, and derogatory to boot, if you consider being called a non-gamer, or being referred to as a fluke non-entity insulting.

Also, Nintendo should be insulted for Ubisoft comparing themselves to them.

You're exactly right. Everyone in the industry should copy Nintendo, because they certainly are the best and most successful company in said industry.

There is nothing wrong or embarassing about copying your competitor.

However, when you do so, they have won. You admit your defeat and are now scrounging for their scrap customers who are just buying your crap while waiting for the next Nintendo game to come out.

I know that you, along with everyone on this forum, wish that every company did what Ubisoft is doing, because then gaming would be a uniform, and repetitive passtime, unlike it is now with all that nasty diversity, originality, and fun.

 

I just hope that next gen, at least Sony and Microsoft hop on board, after they see how much money Ubisoft is making by copying Nintendo.

Apple copied the MP3 player from Sony.  I stuggle to accept the notion that Apple was acknowledging Sony "won."
