i really don't understand this. If the ubisoft is crap, then don't buy it. Isn't that boycott enough?

I mean, before this proposed boycott, who here honestly buys dogz or whatever?

If Ubisoft makes an awesome game, then I will buy it. But if they make a crap game, then I won't. Its as simple as that.

The boycott was because we thought Ubisoft was basically telling Wii owners to go fuck themselves. Ubisoft officialy said it is not their stance that the Wii is only good for casual games, so now a lot of us are waiting and seeing instead of boycotting. 

If they make a new Prince of Persia or BGE and it fails because they ignored 50% of the market, then its their own fault.

I got it mario is a plumbing simulation..... mario kart a drunk driving sim etc... come on people.... you do reallise they are thinking you are all morons here ???? Wii fit is a joke.... you want to do sports... get your ass off the house and do actual sport.... fitness would be a sport it be on the OG..... dog simulation on DS

they are completely underminding human inteligence... and the worst is people are loving it..... nintendo didn't find a great way to atract casual gamers with the Wiimote... they just figured out that for lambs you have to do games like fox is reporting news....

There's a difference between having an opinion and insulting people. I wasn't fooled by Nintendo. I like what I like and you like what you like.

The Fact is: Ubisoft only made crap Wii-Games. The first Rayman was good and fresh, after that they only made crap for the Wii. But nonetheless other companys will make games for the wii that the audience want and will make profit. Face the fact: The wii has the oldest demographic of all consoles. Many PC-Gamers who not play the last-gen-gamepad-consoles like gamecube, xbo360, ps3 etc. bought a wii and want to enjoy games like ego-shooter, survival horror etc. on the wii.

 i'm not they do..... and I stand to my point the masses are lambs... My professional field couldn't exist otherwise and I couldn't make them buy BS like I do..... it's a sad realitty but it is a reallity... we don't decide for them we just influence them.... people gave up their free will centuries ago when they had still some ideals to fight for...  

and I didn't say all they do is crap... I'm saying what got the casual is..... like every mainstream product in general anyway..... high end products are rarely targeted at the mainstream... and high quality product are rarely the one getting the most sales.....

It's sheep. Not lambs. But on topic this so called boycott is ridiculous. Support a quality game if Ubisoft makes one so they make more. That's how you get your message across. If you don't buy anything from them, regardless of it's quality, then they leave the Wii all together. I personallly will buy Red Steel 2 if it's any good.
