So here's my story, I live in a single (small) room on campus.

Consequently, whenever I'm using my Wii, I get it out on a table in front of my tv

whenever I'm not using my wii, I put it away on a shelf so i have more room.

I suddenly realised that it was about a month since I had moved my Wii from said table, and it was infact gathering dust from being left out for so long. I then checked over my play history, and I, or someone else in my college had played on my Wii 29 out of the last 30 days.

/this stupid trend of people saying "my wii is gathering dust" 

That's a great system you have there. I am jealous.

well every console gathers dust if you just leave it theyre with out cleaning it

Get a vacuum cleaner.....yawn..

That has a solution :) Just clean it and the dust is gone!

maybe your house is dusty :P lol
MAYBE you have to clean your Wii

don't enter the room and your wii won't get dusty for most of the dust is produced by your (or your collegues) body

You're not a very clean person , are you? :P not even my Dreamcast gathers dust (it's inside a backpack :P )

My wii gathers dust too,
I just blow into the fans so the dust can be cleared...

you only need to clean it every week and problem fixed.
