These arguments are much harder to answer to, for two reasons:

1. They are your subjective opinions of a game you have not played, and therefore can neither be dismissed lightly, nor taken really seriously.

2. I have no experience whatsover about the game in questions.

But, since I said we'd have a conversation, I'll try my best ;)

This time again you have two arguments:

1. It is just the same as the last game

Answer: Hmm? Is that really such a bad thing? Wasn't the first game really, really great? If you think that doing the same thing will make the game drop hugely in sales I think you are wrong. People will want the next game in the series, especially those that loved the previous game. Maybe 20% lower sales is a pretty good estimation for such a game, I am told, and that would be expected, and not to say that the game bombed.

2.  Graphics are the same

Answer: I really hope that games sell on more than graphics. Oh wait, there's a really good point for that somewhere.... Hmm... Oh right, the Wii!.... No, that was uncalled for, I apologize. From what I heard, the graphics were improved, but I agree with you when you say that it's hard to see the improvement. The first game was so immensly much technically advanced than anything else it was stunning, so to go up to this... Does kinda tarnish the image a bit.

On the whole though, I would say that you are looking at this game with your PS3 goggles on. If you switched to 360 goggles, you might see things differently. The game has a pretty big fanbase, will probably recieve lots of marketing, and it will be heavier and more badass than the first GoW (or so epic says). These are all attributes that I think will contribute to high sales. 

 3 million in the first week eh?  I think I'd like to make a bet with you on that one.  How about control of the loser's sig for a month?  I'd be interested to see if GeoW 2 could get that kind of first week numbers.

A lot of resources are being put into this game and the preview in GI looks impressive. Still, only time will tell, but I doubt it will bomb.
