That's actually quite a scary thought. I mean, if they can achieve 450k on normal weeks, what the hell kind of crazy numbers will they be able to pull on Christmas?

This Christmas Wii will beat all previous records for consoles as well as handhelds.

Well normally holiday sales are 4-5x greater than normal on average weeks. Meaning well Wii could be doing almost 2 million during the holidays, something unachieved by anything ever.

But on average I think it'll level off to 350k-400k a week. Which would be about 1.8-2 million a month. Which would fit shipments.

They'll tuck away a few hundred thousand every month for holidays stockpiling, having seen how quickly the supply ran dry last christmas.
I'm not so sure this christmas will be incredibly much bigger than last though, maybe 15-20%.

Maybe but I think they are a little better prepared for this upcoming holiday season than last.  Remember last year's sold out throughout the year was a surprise, even to Nintendo.  No surprised now and now correct stockpilings and allocations can be done to better provide certain strategic times with more supplies.
