For now....

Man, that REALLY sucks. :s Can't you just go out and see if you can find and buy a separate UK power supply cable somewhere? That way at least you'll be able to play.
Kinda stupid really of the manufacturer to have put a wrong cable in there..

Dun dun dun... ^_^

Oh damn. I feel for you man, I really do. That's horrible :/ Hope you get the replacement soon. And that it's boxed with the right stuff.
dont know if this will help but the power cord on my printer has 3 pins on it I used it recently as a replacement lead for my keyboard. It might be worth checking out.
btw just checked my brick it only has 2 pins on it I live in ireland it should be the same set up as yours I would imagine anyway best of luck with it. also an old kettle lead may work.

In case you missed it, he's not from the US.
@ Machina-AX: Did you buy one of those new 199 Euro's Xbox 360 packs? There was a thread a few days ago suggesting that they might selling refurbished consoles.
Here: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=26838&start=0
I blame Wii Fit. It was bad karma to get a Xbox 360 on Wii Fit launch day (even across the Atlantic)
Seriously, I know how rotten that feels. They should not allow such preventable mistakes because that's how you lose business.

It's so expensive cause it is really a big power supply with a cord hardwired into one end.
Mine even has a fan in it, lol.
....100 bucks is just amazing though. I can't believe they cost so much. If MS could find some way to power the 360 off solar energy, they could sell it as cheaply as the Wii or actually make some profit.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
I know how it feels, my 360 was boxed well and worked right off the bat but whenever i build a new gaming computer, something always goes wrong and I end up sending it back to newegg or tigerdirect for new parts and a 4 week delay.
@Machina
Well I checked my power supply brick and it has a two pins sticking out in the hole, and the cable has two holes. This then goes to a normal UK 3-pin plug for the electric socket. Pretty standard and normal AC adaptor.
Below is a picture of the adaptor, you can see there are 2 pins in the bricks hole. The cable to the left is the USA 2-pin plug for the electric socket, which you shouldnt have got. You should have got the standard UK 3-pin plug. However, both have 2 holes at the end, so Im wondering how you got 3 holes.
I have looked further and there seems to be 3 holes in this one, is this what you got? I would think this would still fit in the brick and the brick only ever has 2 pins in the hole it seems.
If you really did get a USA cable, then you just need to get a convertor like this:
Or you can do what you are doing, which is getting them to replace it.
Hope this helps.
