dont know if this will help but the power cord on my printer has 3 pins on it I used it recently as a replacement lead for my keyboard. It might be worth checking out.
btw just checked my brick it only has 2 pins on it I live in ireland it should be the same set up as yours I would imagine anyway best of luck with it. also an old kettle lead may work.
