What you call hate would be considered mild criticism for the Wii.

Hate would be saying something like:

The PS3 has nothing but games for stupid nerds that live in their parents basement.

Which is the kind of hate the Wii has always gotten.

The PS3 has been like the golden child compared to the abuse the Wii has been getting and not just from this site. Everywhere. Grow a thicker skin.

I think the PS3 hate comes from seemingly constant instances of disappointment (delays, reviews, NPD, smores)*what?*

um the PS3 has been hated on from the very beginning that it launched, i know the wii has had a lot, but so has the ps3...well so has the 360 for that matter. We have a lot of haters this generation. And its pretty stupid.

True.  Before the Wii was released, it was all about how much it would fail.  Then after it was released the feeling was all about how it was crushing the PS3 and the PS3 was failing.  Lately it seems like the Wii is no longer the underdog so people came back around to hating it with the PS3 being the underdog.

I'm not sure what the OP is going on about as I don't see much PS3 hatred going on.  The only new thing is a hyped title getting disappointingly mediocre scores.

I think it is backsplatter from all of the fanboys saying, "PS3 is the greatest and most powerful system ever, i offer no evidence, but everything else sucks."

I'd argue that there is more unfounded Wii hate than PS3 hate.  There is a lot of "The Wii is ruining gaming, the Wii is the reason developers can't afford HD projects."  Of course, it's untrue.  And then there is a lot of "The Wii is a toy, the games are simple and stupid" without acknowledging that all video game consoles are toys and that the does have some of the best exclusives.

 Na its just that i was scrolling down through the forum and just seen thread after thread of negative ps3 comments/information, so i just wondered why the hate and if i was the only one who noticed it like

The IGN haze review does hurt, especially due to the lack of co-op games on PS3 (I know GeoW has great co-op and I want that game)
