Haha, Demongita... ya nutcase.
I'm impressed more and more by the gameplay innovations and creative, out-of-the-box thinking that's going into this game... impressed more than I expected to be. There's some quite daringly clever game design going on here. I'll be very impressed if they manage to maintain balance with the combat, considering all the unexplored territory they're treading on.
One thing's clear, though; simply being good at Melee won't be enough to be good at Brawl initially (though it should help). You've certainly got a lot of new tricks/dangers to figure out and utilize/avoid.

Prediction: Wii passes 360 in US between July - September 2008. (Wii supply will be the issue to watch, and barring any freak incidents between now and then as well.) - 6/5/08; Wow, came true even earlier. Wii is a monster.
I'm sure it'll be balanced as well as Melee and a bit better, hopefully with Fox, Falco, Samus, Marth, etc being weaker or slower, because there were definitely characters that could completely dominate over others if used right.
The whole "heavier characters don't get knocked around" design is promising as well. Bowser could get constantly ganged up on, even though he's big and strong...it shouldn't work like that. Now he'll be able to beat up on people properly! He'll just be really slow I'm sure.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
I missed these from a few days ago:
Screenshots from the recent Famitsu article...not much new for those of us keeping track of the regular updates, although I did notice a few different screenshots that haven't been seen before...

AW HELL NO!
Captain Falcon was fast, but he was more balanced with the rest of the characters...I don't see why Fox can't be a *tiny* bit slower, and have his kicks more balanced too...UP+A kick is the cheapest kick in all of SSBM.
