The 360 will squeek out a US win over the PS3, the PS3 will dominate the 360 in others, and both will suck forever in Japan.

The Wii, however, will definately dominate in the US, probably dominate in Others, and well, there is a 100 percent guarntee the Wii is the dominant console in Japan for now and evermore.

That's how I see it, at this point, extrapolating with no guess work invloved.

Who knows, maybe there will be a factor X. It certainly won't be one game if that game isn't GTAIV though.

Wii has 6 million sold in all 3 regions. PS3 doesn't have 6 million sold in any of them.

I don't think the PS3 will be establishing its own sales oddities like that any time soon.

the PS3 is 6 millions behind X360 in America, PS3 need to outsell the 360 100k a month and in 60 months(5 years) PS3 outsell the 360.

Well, PS3 fans would have you believe that the PS3 will sell better and 360 sell worse(than 100,000 a month in the us!?), also that the PS3 will be around for 10 years and other consoles 5(which wouldn't really be outselling anything, imo).

For PS3 +30K pw advantage it will take ~4 years to ps3>x360. BUT Last year it was selling under the 360 - next year it may be selling 60K pw higher. Ps3 is the highest priced console so price cuts will have greatest impact.  Wii, x360 and Ps3 all will reduce price.

As for GTA4 ,x360 sold more SW BUT the PS3 got the HW boost thats hardly an advantage for the 360 !.

The ps3 has blu-ray , mgs4 , Motorstorm 2, gt5. Everyone especially nintendo is quite capable of price cutting so dont expect that to exclusively help just one console.

Blu-ray drive will be the same as a plain DVD drive for OEM's like sony- so ps3 can drop to the same price as the 360 eventually. With smaller chip's the 360 and Ps3 will be able to drop to almost the same price range as the Wii within 2 years.

MS and Sony may even realise that the games market is more than just traditional games and like nintendo may be able to gow the market as well.

Given a 5 year console growth cycle not even 2/5 way finnished to call the result is premature. The 360 got an early start, the Wii sprinted past, the Ps3 started slow but it's gaining on the 360 now. Lets just wait and see.

 A lot of gourmet food and movies are basically catering to the deluded, arrogant, and conceited too. :P

 In America, it's Wii > X360 > PS3.  Sony will not catch up with MS in the US for at least 3 years.

 Worldwide it's a competition, but Sony would have to win by a lot more than 50k per week.

Apart from the fact that you've included a bunch of 3rd party games in your playstation list you're cherry picking the data and trying to forget that nintendo have been releasing the same old games since the nes. The reality is every generation nintendo just release the same old franchises over and over and over again and this doesn't even include handheld games:

Mario party - 8 titles 

Zelda - 7 titles 

Smash brothers - 3 titles

Metroid - 5 titles

Pikmin - 2 titles

Paper mario - 3 titles

Mario tennis - 2 titles

Mario golf - 2 titles

Fire Emblem - 2 titles

Wave race - 2 titles

Star fox - 5 titles

Donkey kong - 8 titles

1080 snowboarding - 2 titles

Wario - 4 titles 

Battalion wars - 2 titles 

Then lets have a look at the new ip's nintendo have released so far this generation. Number of games 3 - wiisports, wiiplay and wiifit none of which are traditional games. Then you compare that to sony who have released 7 - uncharted, resistance, motorstorm, heavenly sword, folklore, eye of judgement and lair.

Wait, are you talking about sonce developed games, or sony published games?
