maybe thats why they are releasing it in 09, the wii should be at +35 million

I think it's funny that the PS3 and the 360 get a ridiculous amount of violent games but the most violent go to the Wii lol.
I also think it will sell like Okami (PS2), maybe even worse.
It's funny:
Everytime the Wii gets a great 3rd party game, fanboys talk about how poorly it will sell...
...but everytime Wii games sell great, fanboys talk about how terrible they are.
...and when a 3rd party game is great and sells well, like Guitar Hero or Resident Evil, it's completely ignored.
I suppose anything is better than actually admitting the Wii is a gaming console with enjoyable games that just happens to be destorying the other consoles in sales. It's easier to marginalize the Wii as "just a toy." These same people claim that the Wii sucks because it has nothing good coming out, when they obviously know games like Fatal Frame 4, Disaster, and ToS are right around the corner, or maybe they don't know that. They are either ignorant or biased. That's how things are on the internet. Ignorance or bias. Pick your posion. If facts didn't exist, these peoples loud mouths would run the joint.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.

And yes people this man was once a mod.
This game will be great but unless it gets advertising it won't sell phenomenally, but that's just the nature of their games regardless.

Like I said, it should sell well FOR A NICHE GAME. |
Well, it really depends on what you expect the game to sell. I say 100K seems to be the minimal it needs to sell to at least don't take a loss in the financial report.
that been said, I don't see why it makes sense for a third party game that will potentially make no profit to be exclusives. I am saying this to Mad World, I said the same thing about GTAIV, And I will say it again when Haze gets released. it MAKES no sense for a game to be exclusive when it can do much better as an non-exclusive.
Of course, exception are given to first/second party games. Games with a long living franchise on a system and companies get paid to keep it there.
Soriku (Feb 10/08): In 5 years the PS3/360 will be dead.
KH3 bet: "If KH3 comes to Wii exclusive, I will take a 1 month of sig/avatar by otheres open a thread apologize and praise you guys' brilliance." http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?start=50&id=18379

Clover/Platinum's games were also put on the PS2 and sold horribly, there's no reason to think the PS3/360 would help them do any better.

Well, games usually are better quality one just one console. So now let's say this game gets excellent reviews, but doesn't sell too well, but enough to make a small profit. Now let's say this company is planning on a sequel. More people learn about the first game when a sequel is announced. Then it grows in sales, and more , and more by sequel. After a while it will be a large thriving franchise like you mentioned in the last sentence. These franchises don't start out as enormous, but they grow over time. Sega is thinking long-term. They just got back from years of bad games, and they want to keep it like that. It's good to have established franchises that would have better reviews on 1 console, but sell worse, than having the game on more than 1 , but sell more.

Lol, I noticed that too. I mean NMH, Manhunt 2, Mad World? Geez. How will Grandma be able to play these? :P |
Soma Bringer is amazing, i really hope they localize it since the one i'm playing isn't 100% English.

Now you are trolling yet again. |
But you know something? He's right. I was one of those people that actually bought No More Heroes. And I will be buying MadWorld when it comes out next year.
