Forums - Sales - Game Boy...

Yeah, I know Game Boy is dead here, but when Nintendo keeps updating their financial totals, Game Boy Advance keeps going up! It is nill in America, but still keeps creeping up in Japan, and "other". So far, they have claimed to have sold 81.06 million. With the 118.69 Game Boy/Pocket/Color sales, that adds up to 199.75 million, only 250,000 away from 200 million. I'm betting, if it hasn't already, they've sold over 200 million. Anyone know where I can go to prove it, besides Nintendo's VERY slowly updated financial statements?

30-someting now, 40-something next decade!

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Well it's good for people who don't want to spend a lot of money and still have access to a very large library of games. It would probably be better to just buy a DS/DS Lite in the long run, but they might think the price will come down later anyway, so why buy it now? hehe

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

well if they name the next handheld a DS2 or whatever, DS will beat that easily

the ds has gba backwards cmpatibility :P its a game boy in its adolescence :P

maybe... GBA is still selling in some parts

That's incredible. Doing that on 2 handhelds (3 if you separate GBC) is amazing. The only other line in video games that has done this are the PS1 and PS2.

Wow, pika you must be happy, Game Boy Advance sold 81.36 million. The reports came out today, and they have combined to reach 200+ million.
