I was never warned or banned before becoming a mod, and was banned once after when ioi banned all the mods.

Oh also, how many times you've been banned (or warned) before directly affects how long you'll be banned the next time.  We technically only ever have to warn you for something once, and we keep close record of both warnings and bans.  Bans (for the same offense) will get progressively longer, and if you're really bad (leo-j) will result in a perma-ban.

I still want to know WHY I had a 43 DAY BAN!

WHAT THE HELL DID I DO!??! Apparently I was warned for calling someone a "newb who can't post for 3 months".

Twesterm warned me. He knew it was a joke referencing me, but still said I should think before writing.

Then, BAM!!! Ssj12 gives 43-day ban. What is that exact same thing? Because if it was, I seriously want a new way to warn and ban people.

Mods, discuss the way to handle the situation first. Ask Ben or Stof, and then decided on the best solution.

Because there is a difference between a warning and a 1 1/2 month ban, and it really pissed me off.

No bans, one warning. Not proud of it though, it should be a given not to be banned.

I don't think any of the mods can say we have, thanks to good ol' ioi.

Besides that, I haven't been banned. Despite my start on the site. Face it, you all love me. It's okay, I won't overdose you on my awesomeness.

I haven't been banned. I think I was named mod shortly after ioi's night of drunken hilarity.

I'm not quite sure how I escaped banning a few times. I type some weird things when I'm shitfaced. One guy actually wanted to report me to the "authorities" (whatever the hell that means) because I was particularly rude to one poster while intoxicated.

You need to control yourself then, buddy! I surf Vgchartz all the time while wasted. Just check my recent posting history. The last couple of posts are a perfect example. But yeah, the mods who mod drunk are the best mods.

I've been given short bans a couple of times....for being wasted....very obviously wasted. But they never lasted more than a day.

I've never been warned or banned, I guess I'm one of those unbiased types, or rather have reasons for not liking what I experienced with said console/handheld, and I guess that comes from actually playing the systems before making claims heh.

I should have gotten warned for insulting a guy, cause it was pretty bad, but he started attacking me and I got fed up with him, I have got him banned a couple of times.
