Forums - Sony - Wolverine sells 1.9M on ps5.

Not 100% sure if this is legit or just fake news since i never heared of this site ever but

https://alineaanalytics.substack.com/p/wolverine-sells-19m-despite-the-online

Claims wolverine sold 1.9mill copies and generated 130mill in revenue on ps5.

The game gets a lot of hate and bad reviews but it does look like a cool little action game, just not sure if its 80euro cool.

That company is not even reliable, their numbers can be wild sometimes. Anyway, the reviews suggest it is OK at best, apparently seems very short at $80.

Being first parrty they probably have very good access to digital sales at least.

UK Physical sales were the third highest of the year behind only RE and 007. Sold triple the amount Death Stranding 2 did, slightly lower than Ghost of Yotei, 60% lower than Spiderman 2.

1.9m global sales for first three days seems like a reasonable possibility.

They’re not always reliable but they seem to be getting better. The revenue calculations are always a bit iffy, but units seem to be reasonable now. They tend to undertrack a little, and they use sold-through, which means they’d automatically be lower than the sales numbers a publisher would use.

If this ends up true, I think 5 million units lifetime is a lock. I already figured that anyway. 10 million units seems likely in general as well unless it has modest to weak legs.
I do not think we can or anyone should've expected Spider-Man numbers.

It dropped out of the top 10 for Amazon best sellers today along with the OOT remake going from #1 to #4.
