Very surprised to see Rhythm Heaven ahead of Splatoon so soon. Also Switch 2 sales seem to have picked up with over 30k weekly average.

Rhythm Heaven is the star of these 2 weeks.  It looks like its heading quickly toward 1M+ physical.

Switch 1 only appears unpopular, because hardware sales are saturated.  If they broke down playtime by platform, I'm sure Switch 1 would currently be the #1 platform.

Pretty much what you'd expect from two combined weeks considering recent baselines though the Switch 2 did a tad better than usual. The OLED Switch 1 is finally losing the last of its steam considering it's 4.5k versus 18k last year so the Lite will be the last small bastion of Switch sales in its final stretch.

With PS5 stabilising at 10k I could actually see it having a pretty decent 2027 with all of the quality software. Maybe it could actually hit 9m LT if PS6 is delayed to fall 2028 and too costly to outright replace the PS5

Persona 6 is looking to be console exclusive for now and I suspect Final Fantasy VII Revelations and Kingdom Hearts IV will still see a strong majority of their sales on Playstation. Add in all the other titles that will perform decently ranging from Wolverine, Phantom Blade, GTA, God of War etc I think it will hold this new baseline for a while.

There was concern that Switch 2 would completely absorb it's sales once it started getting third party support but I don't think that will happen in the end.

This!

This year holiday sales will probably tell us.

It will be a considerable feat Falling a short of its predecessor for just 600k, PS4 was way more affordable.

Even if they "rush" to release ps6, isn't it going to cost almost 4 digits?
