the only reason i might ever try one is that 10 fof 10 from IGN. But then just out of curiosity. Otherwise no interest whatsoever.

Seriously if you have a 360 or PS3 you are dumb not to atleast play the game. It got great reviews (Hell 10/10 on IGN and IGN UK). See I hate when games are really well recieved and people dont even try it. You dont have to buy it just rent it to see how you like it.

Hey, because someone owns a PS3 that doesn't mean that he / she have to like GTA? So its more dumb to call people dumb for simply not liking this kind of genre of game, that's what's called "having respect for other people's taste". I find these games horrifying, useless, too agressive and simply NO fun. I am more in the Oblivion, Folklore, Ratchet & Clank, White Knight Chronicle type of games... got it?

I'm absoluteley not interested in GTA. I played the original GTA on a PC, maybe 1 or 2 hours, which was boring.
A few weeks ago I played a GTA game on a PSP (30 minutes), but that was boring too.
So I prefer to play some Wii Fit.
Out of all major GTA games (i don't cout stories series and London) the only one i haven't finished was GTA3. And the best one was VC. Since GTA4 is in the similar setting as GTA3, i don't have much interest for it, but if it comes to PC, i might give it a spin.

Likely not. I've played most GTA games made, and bothered to finish only the original and Vice City.
I don't really have anything against sandbox games if the open world aspect doesn't rely on just being big and boring. On every GTA I've played, you can screw around with random vehicles, shoot random people/cops and get arrested or killed, and possibly play some minigames. That's it.
While it's nice that you can throw the game in for an hour of pointless dicking around, it'll ultimately just get boring. On top of that, the bare-bones combat system has never done the series any favors, and all the interesting missions are always embedded in the story and usually can't be replayed. Once I finished Vice City's story, I tossed the game back in the shelf and haven't played it since.
Unless the new GTA has dramatically improved these aspects, I'll probably never play it seriously.

I'll most likely never play this game, due to the repetitiveness! (I've seen gameplay and everything.) It'll get boring after a while. That's my opinion though.
