I still own various ones not made by the big 4. Atari (2600/7800/Jaguar), NEC (PC Engine Duo/TG16), SNK (Neo Geo AES), Toshiba (Nuon), Panasonic (3DO FZ1/10), Blaze (Evercade).

The Lynx was actually 16 bit. It actually had some technically impressive games for the time. I remember playing Ninja Gaiden (The Arcade Game) on it a lot. Blue Lightning was another game I put a lot of time into. Also I remember being impressed by Electrocop at the time. It was a "3D Game". It was crazy to play a game like it and on a portable at that.

PC Engine otherwise known as Turbografx in the USA. It was an 8 bit console but the games definitely looked 16 bit. They kept upgrading it with a CD expansion and RAM cards to keep it relevant until 1995. A lot of PCE games look and sound amazing even compared to SNES! 



R-Type looks nearly arcade perfect on it! Blows the NES version out of the water!



Here's a super late gen release from 1995 or so. Looks like an arcade title huh?

@OP: I still own a 3DO and a Jaguar. They don't come out very often, except for maybe a little Tempest 2000 and Alien vs Predator.

I also have one of those Evercade Super Pockets. And an Atari 2600+ reproduction, if that counts.

My buddy and I just upgraded to the PCE Duo. So we both will have PC Engines (Japanese Turbo Grafx) for sale. Both are S-Video modded and recapped. 

The TG-16 had an 8bit CPU but a 16bit GPU. That part of the reason why the graphics were so impressive. It had a really good port of Street Fighter 2.

My dad had an Atari 2600 with that Robot shooting game and Asteroids I think, good times but more based on nostalgia than anything. Definietely crude, simple gameplay in hindsight but for the 70s it was impressive I'm sure. Certainly hit different than most games now.

Man this thread is making me wanna try out the TG-16, I do love the SNES and Megadrive from the same gen and my brother does have one, might have to hassle him about it when I get back home, visiting my parents out in the bush atm.

Wait for the black Friday sale and get a Krikzz Turbo Everdrive Pro. That way you can play all CD and cart games. Also the JP consoles are only $100, while north American systems are expensive.

Not other consoles, but my household had computers such as a Commodore 64 & an Amiga just before we got Windows 95 and/or 98. My parents also had (and still have) a ZX Spectrum (ZX-81), but I never played it. It's missing it's wires & a rubber key. I've kept it in my console collection in good condition recently as my parents didn't know what to do with it and gave it to me.

On the commodore 64 & Amiga I remember playing-
Bubble Bobble
Klax
A Rampage clone (but with the dinosaur from the Chewits TV adverts)
Flimbo's Quest
Fiendish Freddy's Big Top o' Fun
Lemmings

There will be other games too that I can't remember. I'm sure I remember lots of Space Invaders clones & Shmups. We had 3 big piles of floppy discs for the Amiga. Most were Navy blue. Some were black. A very small number were red & yellow.

My older brother had a Sega Master System & Mega drive that we both played on. We also shared a Gameboy. Then I got a Super Nintendo for Christmas. It was the bundle with Mario All-Stars + World. Happy Times :)

and I Don't have: Magnovox Odyssey, Any Atari's, Any Macintosh computers, Sega Gamegear, Virtual Boy, Sega Saturn, N-gage, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PSP, PSVita & Andoid Phone. Plus any non-mainstream consoles/platforms I haven't mentioned.

My parents have an Atari 2600 and Atari 5200. The 2600 still works and once every few years I'll hook it up and play for a little bit. The 5200 hasn't worked in decades.

I also have a Neo Geo Pocket Color, which is a handheld.

Panasonic’s 3DO back in 1995 and it came out with Gex which me and my whole family briefly had a very memorable fun time with it until my brother sold the system for cash behind our backs lol

After that we got a PlayStation and the rest is history hehe.
