I don't understand why some of these digital only players hate physical games so much. Does seeing others enjoy something you don't just make you bitter?

Why I compare them to vegans. 

It's because they have to justify the investment they made and people like to do so by putting others down. Some people want to blindly consume and when others question or push back against it, they see it as an attack on them personally. None of us physical supporters want digital to disappear or for the digital bros to burst in flames. We just want options and as a consumer, the more options the better. 

Everyone can do whatever they want to do. The console gaming industry is already shrinking, and giving players a reason to find something else to do isn't good business.

I don't care that much most of the time for the tangible object.
I do care about the DRM. PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo aren't like GOG.
