The debates are half the reason i come to this site, sometimes its very fun to read

As long as it doesn't get overly hostile and/or stupid I have no issue with it really, I'm all for taking part in a reasonable debate in fact. The problem is online debates going in that sort of direction is very common and reading those kinds won't do any good other than potentially some entertainment value.

VGChartz was founded in 2005. I've been around for longer than that! Not by much... let's just say I'm older than WindWaker in NA.

and to his point, i remember online debates about windwaker like it was yesterday. i was involved in those debates myself, and yes as you could probably guess i took the side that it looks like a baby game lol. my opinion on it has tempered slightly since then.

If you don't enjoy it, ignore it. A few years ago people were complaining that one person was posting too many threads... ...so he stopped and the place suddenly felt flat.
The site is the people here, for better or worse. Let them do what they want... As long as it's vaguely on topic of games and hardware, it should be fine.

This is exactly right. The site is the people. There are things that annoy me about users all the time and i already know I'm insufferable, it is what it is. We are an ecclectic group that all have one thing in common, we love this site and this is where we like to do our thing. Lol

kirby007! hey man its been so long. both long tenured trolls of the site however your method of trolling was way more tactful and less disruptive than mine. hey look, yes i have a tumultuous mod history and i am trying to keep my behavior within range, believe it or not i really am trying my best. i dont want to go into a cell for another ten years.
