An important message for (some) users on this site: Don't take the bait! Online debates are a waste.

As long as it doesn't get overly hostile and/or stupid I have no issue with it really, I'm all for taking part in a reasonable debate in fact. The problem is online debates going in that sort of direction is very common and reading those kinds won't do any good other than potentially some entertainment value.
