Forums - Gaming - The Last of Us 2 was overshadowed by [SPOILER]

I think it sucks the sequel did not have multiplayer.

The Last of Us Part 2 is a masterpiece and my all time favourite experience i’ve had in video games with all the whirlwind of emotions it had me go through and how improved and polished everything about it was in comparison to the 1st one which was legendary in its own right.

The Last of Us Part II is literally the best game ever made since The Legend of Dragoon in 1999.
It is outstanding, it's masterfully crafted and is the most powerful videogame I've ever touched, nothing has come close to mess with me as that game did.

I love how we’re always pouring our love for this game whenever its mentioned here and defend it since 2020 haha

I've come to like the game even more since 2020, everytime I get thinking about it or see someone playing it I like it even more lol.

I really hope after Intergalactic we have a Part III for the series. I expect a lot of Intergalactic too, but I still want more The Last of Us as well.

I’m planning to actually go for a full run again soon on PS5 Pro since the last time i played it from start to finish was in August 2020 on PS4 Pro where i went through a full playthrough and a half to get the platinum.

I truly hope Intergalactic becomes an experience worthy of the pedigree of Naughty Dog and i deeply wish as well for a Last of Us Part lll in the future.

Still my GOAT. The premature and unfair backlash the game got well before it even released was very disappointing. In a less reactionary environment we might have gotten Factions 2 and an announced Part 3 by now.

I remember vividly all the video games news channels being swarmed by the leaks in April 2020 when lockdowns were recently established around the globe and trying to avoid spoilers was like walking through a minefield!!

When i played the game around launch i was waiting for those catastrophic decisions that got so many freaking out only for the credits to roll and i find myself highly emotional by how phenomenal and incredibly impactful the experience was for me.

Aside from the length issues ( I personally loved how long it took to finish) For me, it's a game that challenges you. It challenges what you thought you understood of the characters in the first game and it challenges you with some very fucked up situations in this chapter of the story plus some extremely flawed and selfish characters. Seen from that perspective, I can totally understand why it's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm sure glad it's mine.

It's so awesome, thinking about it makes me wanna play it again lol

Factions 1 is probably a top five multiplayer game of all time for me, even with the pay to win and scummy microtransactions.

Rest easy though, they might have canceled Factions 2, but in its place we got greatness like um Concord and whatever the Bungie battle royale is called.
