Amazon has been pushing some discounts for Switch 2 physical games, the official price is $80.

I'm sure you know what people are talking about.

I wasn’t fully being serious lol but yeah, Nintendo prices as Nintendo pleases. I know my work arounds though so doesn’t affect me all too much.

It's 389 BRL on brazillian eshop. I'm buying the Japanese version. It's only 289 BRL there

IDK what you guys are yapping about, I just got my physical preorder through Amazon for $69.97USD.

Link to Amazon.US page.

Also, if ever you want a discounted Switch 2 system, just order Nintendo eShop cards at 10% discount through CostCo, order your Switch 2 through the official Nintendo Store online using your cards, and you’ve got yourself a NIB Switch 2 system for $405USD. Shipping is free.

im going to make sure that i pay the full $80 price tag to make sure nintendo gets as much money as possible.

i love $80 games i love them sooooo much

I love them too! I can now recommend people retrogames in the $50 price range. When they complain that it's too expensive I just say "So you'd rather take a chance on an $80 game" than buy something you've played and enjoyed before for $50?

Also, don't forget about those kickass $70 games with $40 of microtransactions that you should have gotten with the game for free. I love it when they take costumes that I could have found in-game and make them a boring credit card transaction! All the costumes in E33 should have been locked behind a paywall of $10 each! That would make the game sooooo much more enjoyable!

Well what i like is being able to technically be able to unlock something by grinding for 200 hours but be able to just pay $$$ for it instead. It just feels soooo good to pay for it.

Listen here! cONcURRENt pLAyErS is the most important stat ever! Actual sales don't matter at all! Just as Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Take 2! They are thee best most pro-consumer peeple in the industry! Anti-consumer Nintendo makes single player one and done games! Meanwhile the big 4 give us thousands of hours of playtime out of a SINGLE GAME!

Im sure theres a lot of content in the game, but Im not sure this is the franchise you should ask premium prices for. I would rather watch paint dry than play this game, so Im good, but we`ll see how the fans respond to it.

Seems like they have forgotten way to quickly that not too long ago, Fire Emblem was in a life or death situation. And selling 2-3 milion copies per game nowadays is not as crazy as they may think. I wouldn't push their luck with this one...

If this is 80 bucks, Xenoblade Genesis and Ocarina of Time will probably follow suit. Oh well, I guess my second hand collection of Switch 2 games will be WAY bigger than it was on Switch 1. I'm very certain I'm not paying 80 bucks for any game, not even 70.

I payed 90-100 $ for new games in 1995 so this doesnt bother me at all.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)
