When the original game is already very good even by today's standards, I prefer a faithful remake with slight changes and up to date controls/gameplay/visuals. This is the case with Ocarina of Time.

When the original game is terribly outdated in every concievable way (Metroid I and II for example), I rather have a remake/reimagining.

This is a valid argument. Not risking breaking what is good.

I just do not feel like investing the time to play a game I already played is worth it.

The best types of remakes imo is where they match the feel of the original but make it different enough to be experienced for the first time once again.
RE4 was that type of remake for me. It was like playing my favorite game ever for the first time. Really thankful for that.

I understand. I can respect that. I'm quite the opposite: I REALLY enjoy replaying my all time favourites. I may have beaten Kingdom Hearts 1 dozens of times, but I still enjoy the game to this day.

I personally haven't played Ocarina of Time since the N64 when I was a kid, so even if it's a mostly faithful retelling with some modern tweaks and embellishments, I'm excited to revisit my childhood with visuals that recapture how amazing that game looked to me in 1998.

How do you fans feel of the color grading? Is it giving nostalgia vibes?

I personally love how it looks, it feels faithful to the original while taking good advantage of more modern rendering technology.

The only thing I'm not a big fan is Sheik redisign. I think it gives too much away.

I just really hope we'll get some new content. Increased maximum numbers of hearts so we can collect more heart pieces. Some new side quests, new doors to walk through in the market place, maybe even a new dungeon? There seem to be some smaller changes visible in the trailer (for example a swamp-like area in Hyrule Field), so I'm keeping my hopes up.

Got my pre-order, it is in my top 5 GOAT. Seems the UK was a day later for ordering, nothing yesterday. Can Nintendo port WW over for gods sake.

I think everything looks great, except the faces of young Link and young Zelda.
There's something especially werid about Young Link's face to me. Not so much from afar, but when the camera gets close.
Adult Link seems to look fine though.

new doors to walk through in the market place,

I think they said that there are new houses you can walk into in Hyrule Castle Town.
I dunno about increasing the hearts beyond 2 from an aestetic standpoint, but finding heart pieces was one of the most rewarding parts of exploration in most Zelda games for me, aside from finding new weapons/items. So I wouldn't mind there being more of those somehow.

Is this just for Prime members?  Putting the game in my cart it still comes up as $69.99 for physical.

No, they were just matching Walmart since they had a $10 discount.  Walmart pre-orders temporarily sold out, so they stopped price matching.  But Walmart pre-orders are back up with the $10 discount right now as of this post.  Not sure if Amazon is going to price match again.  They might.

Yeah, it's back up now for $59.99 physical.  I went ahead and ordered it as my second copy and cancelled my Best Buy order.  Still keeping my other order from Nintendo though just to ensure I get the special cover.

Young Link looks fine to me. Young Zelda, on the other hand - I think adult Zelda is going to look younger than young Zelda. They needed to go a bit more chubby face like a real kid and not be so focused on making her look "wise beyond her years." The mask of the N64 version of young Zelda looks better than the actual face because that at least looks like a kid. Young Link does not have that problem.
