If AI is the line in the stand for you as it is for me, you're just going to have to go retro-only because the end of all-human-made games has arrived. From this point forward, even if a studio or dev claims otherwise, there is simply no way of knowing. So it's ether accept it fully, accept it grudgingly, or leave gaming entirely and go retro. There are no other options.

With that in mind companies might as well fire all human employees and replace them with AI because it saves money, then the AI can rise up and launch the fucking nukes.

Just another reason the 2020s fucking suck.

Unless governments step in and regulate it, I fully expect AI to make entire games. There will be a handful of men and women at the top in suits and one single person to work the machine. There will be a prompt, the machine will make a game within seconds and bam... done and done. The masses will clap and blindly accept this dystopian reality, and we'll continue to march toward an increasingly-bleak future where the majority of people live on universal income (which will be coincidentally just enough to get by) and the lords of mankind prosper. 

The problem is not it using it, is that the game is not looking good.

My idea of blowing up AI data centres is looking pretty good now, eh?

Does it matter? if graphics and such are fine, and you have a hard time telling, if it was done by ai or not?

I would prefer that Story and such, where always done by humans.
If textures and such, are done by Ai there better be good oversight, that look over and polish each thing.... so it doesn't show up poorly in game.

Yes, because it's already hard for artists and animators to get work without companies taking the lazy route and just using AI. It's about taking the moral high ground.

I can't condone murder for any reason, nor destroying someone's property. But as I've said before, the latter is going to happen. It's just a matter of time. American's have done worse over taxation. It's inevitable.
