My 2 cents is they choose this MC specifically to spark controversy

Controversy is what brought them attention for the first game (though that time I believe it was unintentional, they were just horny guys creating a hottie as a MC)

This time it really reads as a fabricated controversy. An MC who looks like Eve would no longer bring the same level of free publicity this time they went for a girl who looks underage

Again how immoral is this is or if this is a dealbreaker is an individual decision, I wouldn't play this game regardless because I don't like the first so... whatever for me

I also thought the MC looked a bit like a 14 year old Evangelion pilot.
Maybe that will change over time, maybe it won't. The game will likely be in development for a while.

Eve looked younger during the original 2019 teaser trailer. 

You play as teenagers in like every RPG ever. Why give a shit? If the game is good. All that matters. I saw moves in the trailer straight out of the PS2 game God Hand. One of the best games ever. That's good shit.

How many of you played Persona 5? Ann is sexually assaulted by her teacher. She wears a skin tight cat suit. Yet people who cry about this game I see are some of the same people who love that game and I have seen some online who sexualize her. A teenager who was essentially raped. So maybe shut the fuck up.

I liked Stellar Blade but for me this sequel will totally SURPASS IT in every ways possible. I really fell in love with the trailer.

How many Asian women have you seen in your life? Not trying to be condescending here, I'm truly curious. When I was 19, I took a semester off from college and worked at Wal-Mart. There was this cute Asian girl in the pets department. She was all of 5'1", so she'd ask me for help when she needed something heavy moved. I thought she was cute. I was thinking about asking her out and then I found she was 32 years old, married, and had a kid. Me and my teenager co-workers at the store thought she was our age. I thought this was unusual until i got placed in the international hall at my college dorm*. It wasn't.

*Being in that dorm was one of the highlights of my life. I got to meet people from all over the world with leaving the country. It was an enlightening experience. 

Many? I live in the neighborhood with the highest concentration of Japanese people outside Japan in the world. A third of people on my building are Asian or Asian descendents, not even mixed, full fledged Asian heritage
