Uh ... not to get into the actual argument but if most countries don't have a system where a "medical bankruptcy" is a thing then that percentage means nothing.  It's like saying China has the highest percentage of people who have a Chinese library card and then being surprised about it.

Also, many countries that don't have "medical bankruptcy" do have a fair number of people who declare normal bankruptcy for health related reasons with no further details.

That statistic does not have the impact that you think it does.  Otherwise, carry on.

THANK YOU.  I almost went there.  Your analogy is much better.  I was going to go with Florida has the most boat accidents, way more than Arizona, OMG something is wrong with boats in Florida!!  But yes, the stat is stupid.

Edit

Also normalized per capita, Medical debt in the US comes out at $660.  Meanwhile, per capita, Canada is $1,020.

The fact remains that the US has the highest percentage of medical bankruptcies in the world with less than 5% percent of the world's population but keep on deflecting that is the American way.  American's love to do that or ignore that a problem exists in the first place.

In the 1800s, kids didn’t need a gym class. Kids had farmers strength and worked all day. Then in the 1960s before things went to hell, gym class was basically a military boot camp.

Now America has gotten so rich and we desire ultimate convenience. So we put plastics in everything which leads to plastic in every organ. Chemicals are everywhere.

In only 30 years, parents will buy their kids little scooters and be so proud that they’ve learned to not have to walk. They can go for miles! And the literal spectre of death will be smiling because people won’t live as long, he’ll have more work to do.

Despite all that athlete's today except for Wilt Chamberlain who is an outlier and unicorn are way more talented than the where in the 60's and before that.  Also, pesticides are a way bigger problem than plastics.  Last time I checked you can't get cancer from plastics.

And china has the most Chinese library cards!!

Dude.  This is my last post.  I've proven you wrong and we both know it.

94% of people have little to no medical debt, the problem isn't as wide spread as the media tricked you into believing.
