| curl-6 said: TOTK I loved a lot; the fuse and ultrahand mechanics were insanely impressive, and made the puzzles and weapons system even more enjoyable than BOTW. The themed dungeons and bosses were a step up over its predecessor as well. The sky was cool, but I did find that the depths got monotonous after a while. I find it a lot like Mario Galaxy 2 where it mostly lives up to the sky high standard set my its prequel, but just isn't as impactful because the second time experiencing something is never as impactful as the first. 9/10 game all the same. |
Fair enough. I feel the reason I give both Galaxy games a 10 while only giving BOTW a 10 in its duology (TOTK a 9) is because the Mario Galaxy games have more momentum and I feel minus the story that Galaxy 2 improved virtually everything. I don't mind Starship Mario. I don't really like it more or less than the Observatory, it's just smaller and different. Same with not minding the world map layout.
