I feel this is an appropriate thread to necrobump given all the doom-and-gloom surrounding PS5 due to the recent price hike. It’s wild how quickly the internet will become a volcano of negativity and pessimism whenever something bad happens.

Yeah, it sucks that the price has gone up…but why start contemplating on how Sony will be doing another price hike in the short-term future? And how PS6 will cost upwards of four figures? Why begin predicting that Nintendo and Microsoft are about to follow suit? Why run with these lines like “Oh!! We’re headed for another crash. :(“?? that we are headed for another crash? So much fearmongering… keep a level head, all. It’s tough as it is. There’s no point in living in such fear and/or anger.

I used to be a massive doom and gloomer; ask anyone who was on here from 2009-2020. Ironically, it took getting cancer for me to learn to look on the bright side of life and stay sane.

I still lose my cool sometimes, as we all can, but tonight I'm playing Kena Bridge of Spirits (great game btw) and you know what, sometimes it's good to just unplug from all the drama and enjoy gaming.

I did not know you had cancer.  I am sorry that happened.  I hope all is well.  

Thanks man; yeah I had a malignant nerve sheath tumor in my leg in 2019-2020, luckily I caught it early and as of next month I am 6 years cancer free.
