Yeah, I give it a 6. It was mostly games we knew about. No new exciting games imo.

They just forgot the best announcement in the list:
Console Archives: Monster Rancher Hop A Bout
We reap what we sow

6/10 from me too.
Mostly stuff we already knew about, but nice to get some release dates and footage for a lot of stuff that was announced but not really detailed before.
If nothing else, this year is looking like it'll have a bigger third party lineup than any year of Switch 1.
FF7 Rebirth, The Adventure of Elliot and maybe Valheim look interesting. I don't own any current gen system though. There are a few games on current systems I want to play eventually, but nothing that makes me feel I need a current system right now. At this point I think I'm going to focus on Switch 1 games and retro gaming until they announce the PS6. Then I'll decide if I want a PS5, PS6, Switch 2, or maybe go the PC route.
curl-6 bet me that PS5 + X|S sales would reach 56m before year end 2023 and he was right.
My Bet With curl-6

How Much Will MH Rise sell?

Good to see the ol' Switch 1 still getting support with stuff like Digimon Time Strangers, Kyoto Xanadu, Captain Tsubasa, and Paranormasight.
Far cry from when Nintendo consoles would run dry before they were even replaced.

Yeah I thought this was strange. I suppose it does make sense though...

Turok returning to Nintendo after a quarter of a century is a cool moment, given that the first three were iconic N64 titles.
Also, I'm gonna be flat out in May/June with Indiana Jones, 007 First Light, FF7 Rebirth, and Adventures of Elliot all releasing in quick succession.
Nintendo really seem to be positioning Switch 2 as more of a "this console is for third party games too" thing compared to Switch 1, with a lot of their social media marketing spotlighting stuff like RE Requiem and FF7.

No, it isnt the same. When playing 2 or split on separate systems, the screen is full single player.

Can't really ignore the second best selling console of all time. Especially since the Switch 2 is BC with it anyway.
Skipped it. I don't do the clip show reels.
Give me a Direct that actually focuses in on the gameplay experience. These sorts of Directs offer nothing we won't see in release trailers when these games actually become relevant.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
