For Bananza they should have brought back Grant Kirkhope.

I'd wager a guess Retro is making Prime 5 next. How would you feel if Nintendo used another in house studio. Either recently aquired or older. Maybe even hire an outside studio. Maybe Mercury Steam.

Considering how well Mercury Steam did with Metroid I would like to see how they handle a 2D Donkey Kong.

What world themes would it have though? I'm hoping they have another haunted world like Gloomy Gulch in Donkey Kong Country 2, and a wild west themed world with cowboy Kremling enemies.

Always been found of DK's 2D outings to be frank.

None of the other 2D Donkey Kong villains have had the lasting impact as King K. Rool. I've seen fanart of K. Rool as a Polynesian-esque tribal chief that proves he could've easily taken Tiki Tong's place as the villain in DKC Returns.
