Hard to take Digital Foundry seriously when they leave this out of the list:

DF gave Kingdom Come 2 a mostly positive review when they covered it, praising the lighting in particular, but felt it had some drawbacks such as plant animations and water interaction running at 30fps even when the game runs at 60, reflections not being the best, and no HDR support.

How is Assassin's Creed Shadows in the top3 ? like that shouldn't happen.

also some of these Nintendo mentions feel like "participation trophy". They get a mention, just to drive traffic to their video.

People rly should stop linking Digital Foundry videos.
Of these 3 only DS2 is worth top3 spots, other 2 especially Shadows is as average as as 2023 game can be, it not even on the level 2024 releases
There are many better channels that do similar thing as them but much better.
They were OKish 10 years ago, now they are joke of channel.

Kirby/Mario Kart/etc are there cos it's the "best graphics on PS5/PC/Xbox/Switch 2" so they included some notable Switch 2 titles under "honourable mentions".

Not sure what DF were really assessing, best tech or best art, but it seems to me (given the games in the video) they used both criteria, and if that's so, anyone that talks about best visuals in 2025 (that includes TGA) and does not include The Midnight Walk as one of the options is, IMO, automatically disqualifying themselves from the conversation.

Assassin's Creed Shadows, I'm sure it's that high because of the Ray Tracking, people there on DF LOVE it, and from what I've seen (not much) it does looks really, really good with RT on.

Death Stranding 2 definitely looks better to me, but I've seen that one personally on my TV, not only on youtube.

Ghost of Yotei is the most beautiful game I've ever played, but not the best graphics, it looks good but certainly not the best, the art direction and how the lightning interacts with it is the reason it has the most beautiful game world ever.
