MLID thinks the Rumored PS5 handheld... will be almost twice as strong as the Xbox Rog Ally X.
He recammends getting a Switch 2 instead of of the xbox handheld (for the here and now).... or waiting for the Playstation handheld... unless you really have a specific reason for the xbox one (he doesn't see the value in it, I guess).

When the PS6 handheld will release, there will be also stronger "Windows/Xbox" handhelds. You could never buy a "Windows/Xbox handheld" because it's always weaker as those in the future then.
I also don't understand the logic to buy a Switch 2 instead for those years until a PS6 handheld releases. If I want a Switch 2, I don't need to replace it with a PS6 handheld nor do I need an Xbox Ally now. If I don't want a Switch 2 for 80% of the games people buy a Switch 2 for, I can't use it as alternative to a Steam deck, Xbox Ally or whatever.
Sure, Switch 2 has Cyberpunk and other games, but it won't get many other PC games the other handhelds have and the majority of games people buy a Switch 2 for won't release on other handhelds like Steam Deck, Xbox Ally or a PS6 handheld.
I have a Switch 2 and there's no other system I can replace it with regardless of the price and power. But it also can't replace my gaming PC or couldn't replace my "PC handheld" if I needed one.
To me the question is if you should buy an Xbox Ally or an alternative from the other "PC handhelds" if you want to have one now but not if you should rather wait for a PS6 handheld probably releasing in a few years (then you can also wait a few years for stronger handhelds even without a PS6 handheld) or to buy a Switch 2.
