He receives way too much hate for all the good he does.
The games industry is one of the most juvenile environments and not just from fandom. For some reason people (even developers) made it seem like the game layoffs were somehow his fault just because he reserved his feed for reporting new game releases & generally things of positive excitement

He's more than just a face since he literally birthed it and gave the industry something to compete with E3 & generate buzz whilst E3 was on its way out
Indifferent.
People hype him up like other corporate game industry figures like Reggie, Kaz, etc
Doesnt matter to me at all , all I care is about the games, not some figure heads who get on stage for a few minutes throwing out jargon and random figures.

I respect the entrepreneurship. He simply build it up from practically nothing. The shows seem to get better over time as well.
The Kojima ass kissing is annoying though.

This, although I don't mind his love of Kojima. It's awkward for sure, but personally I can accept it from a guy who built a thing like this. Also, it brings a bit of personality to the shows, even if it is awkward. Like someone in this thread pretty much said, he's a fairly bland guy.

Apparently, lot of people don't remember him from the old days when he used to poke the bear...a lot.
