Dreamcast is so weirdly overrated. I've owned one with around 30 games. Dreamcast's library doesn't have a single game that is largely considered "one of the greatest of all time", and the library on the whole is tiny, because the console didn't last long. Next to some solid Arcade ports, Its most relevant/iconic games were Soul Calibur (a relatively unpopular series. PS2 had Soul Calibur 2 and 3 which are arguably superior, but no wow-factor), Shenmue (Awesome in some ways for its time, but certainly not an all-time great, and aged very poorly), and Sonic Adventure (Meh. Cool for its time and I liked it for what it was, aged terribly).
GameCube has a larger library that includes a number of truly great games more recognised than anything on Dreamcast. RE1 Remake, RE4, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Zelda WW and TP, SSBM, and tons of gen 6 multiplatform releases. Nintendo also didn't forget to include a second analog stick to its controller...
Xbox Series has a massive library of solid games. But two other options exist (PC and PS5) that make it super redundant. It's hard to evaluate it fairly.
PS4 is in a league of its own. It's basically a Series XS, but with a much bigger library of games and lots of generational exclusives. It did become redundant over time, but that's the natural course of modern consoles. PS5 and Switch 2 both make their predecessors useless.
Some of PS4's best games (original, no ports):
Bloodborne, God of War, Uncharted 4, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, TLoU2, Ghost of Tsushima, Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro, Red Dead Redemption 2, all modern Resident Evil games, Persona 5, NieR Automata, The Witcher 3, and pretty much 99% of cool and relevant 3rd party games. Though like Xbox (but to a smaller extent), the existence of PC hurts its value as a must-have game system. If you are a PC gamer first, modern Playstation systems just aren't all that great.
