Game Cube is getting unfair amount of flack in this thread. It was great system, cheap and with many great games between first and third parties (it has the best versions of third parties in that gen)
I never owned one, but I have played many of its games either on PS2 or thanks to emulation and in retrospect I think it was a very good system. Metroid Prime, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Zelda Wind Waker, Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil 4, Soul Calibur 2, Resident Evil remake (the best version of RE1 imo), Price of Persia Sand of Time, Ikaruga, Eternal Darkness, Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes...
It was an all around solid line up. Maybe not enough to beat the volume of PS4 but certainly a system that hold its own ground, deserved to sell much better than what it sold
