Needs to be impeached immediately. This whole Iran thing is out of control. If he bombs them hardcore, especially civilian infrastructure, Iran will close the Strait. Plus, the US is running towards being an enemy of the UN. My god, if the US continues this trend and ever slips up on the world stage, the entire world will get revenge. Not having friends is a level of stupidity that is devoid of strategy and logic.  Iran is the first act of Trump that suprises me, the other stuff was predictable.  But this, this is just absurd.  I cannot believe the GoP is going along with it.

Why can’t you believe it? The entire GOP caucus has made it loudly clear that their member’s balls are being kept in jars on Trump’s nightstand. Hell, some of them handed their own balls over to him willingly, already in jars.

And their balls are in jars in large part because GOP voters support what’s being done to the Iranians. They support all of it. That’s why I noped TF out of Oklahoma.

Trump needs to be removed from office. Even his VP and cabinet need to be as well.
It's nearly impossible to remove that many people, and you can't on an administrative level at once.
The GOP is too scared of Trump and MAGA backlash to do so. They mostly agree with him anyway.
There cannot be a national vote outside of election years for the president. So even in the nearly impossible situation where a lot of the line of succession was impeached and removed, it will just go to the next person.
Trump's Easter message was so vile. I truly wish that if we're going to have horrible criminals as president, they would at least be a little more civil. But I don't want war crimes and other major crimes committed by any president.

Trump’s former supporters are wanting someone else to learn to use the nuke codes so that Trilump would not have that responsibility.

I think that this is a great idea. Trump is far too volatile and has almost totally lost the ability to control itself

Even if he's (thankfully) walked it back again, his genocidal posts about Iran may finally be the straw the breaks the cheetoh's back. Even far right pundits are coming out unequivocally against his actions and calling for the 25th amendment:

Obviously they don't really care about Iranians but even they can see the writing on the wall and are preparing for the post-Trump era.

Which is where I am baffled.  I am sure the more loyal MAGA folks are ok with Iran, but the general public, including republicans..  this is wildly unpopular.  If the GoP doesn't do something, they will get rocked in the mid-terms.

MAGA folk make up a majority of the population of most Southern states, and they are loving the cruelty, even if they are getting hurt. They're definitely drinking the Flavor-Aid in places like Oklahoma.

Not much to do unless 21 Republican senators decide to cross the aisle and agree to convict him in an impeachment trial. I say 21 because, even though there are 47 Democratic senators and 67 votes are needed to convict, one of Fetterman's balls is in a jar on Trump's desk, and Fetterman's other ball is in a jar on Netanyahu's desk.

Trump and his ilk are already cracking down on voting in many ways. Assuming the election is mostly to almost entirely open then yes Democrats will get a majority because of how awful Republicans are. Democrats are outperforming in Trump 2024 districts and counties, sometimes by double digits and beating Republicans.

There is a possibility that at the federal level and some other elections is too anti-MAGA to rig even with rigging, but we don't know yet.

Trump has already supported Iran's terms yesterday only to violate the ceasefire already.

Feel like beating a dead horse by now, would be faster to highlight anything he says that is actually true (Is there anything?)

During a press conference on Monday about the war in Iran, US President Donald Trump made a series of false claims about Washington’s progress in the conflict, his own past foreign policy, and that his book released in 2000 predicted 9/11.

"Trump had over 30,000 confirmed lies from his first term alone. The wiki article on his lies is the seventh longest article on the entire website. He is probably the most prolific liar in human history."

It's about unplugging the Strait of Hormuz with the agreement....

Is Trump threatening nuclear war on Iran?
