Operating it as a prison again is estimated to cost 40 to 60 million a year, operating a facility on an island is estimated at over $500 per inmate per day, compared to roughly $120–$164 at standard mainland federal prisons.

But it would be nice to see Trump, Biden and all their lackeys in there. That's worth a tiny slice of the defense budget.
