Every 5-6 years for laptop and phone. The latter is only possible now with my Fairphone, before keeping an Android phone for so long would have been nearly impossible as it would have made them unusable in the meantime.

Consoles, one per generation, so at current rates roughly every 7-8 years.

Cars really depends on how much I had to drive with them. In general I get a new car roughly after 150000 km.

TV: Probably only once it doesn't work anymore

Phone 4-5 years
My current Phone I got march 2022 and will either upgrade it in 2026 or 2027. The determining factor will be how annoying is the reduce battery life from age get. I tend to upgrade once the battery life start to ignore me enough which tend to be 4-5 years.

TV - Main TV I target every 10 years (but my previous main was used as main for 11 years). Every other TV in house get replaced when it stop working. My bedroom TV is 15 years old at this point it was my previous main TV. Still working so not felt need to replace.

Computer - Use to be every 5 years with a GPU upgrade sometime during those 5 years. 50 series annoyed me with pricing through so my GPU going to be 5 years old in a month and rest of computer 5 and half year old already. I upgrade at some point just not sure when.

Car: First car was a used given to me by my parents and I drove it from 16-25. At 25 bought my first new car and used it for 15 years. My third and current car had for 2 years and will keep it for at least 8 more years probably longer. I never been much of a car guy as longer as it get me from point A to Point B with low risk of killing me am good. I hoping by the time I ready for a new car that they will have perfected self driving cars.

Video Game Console: Last one I bought was a PS 4 PRO and I really don't have much interest in buying any of the current ones. I fine with sticking to PC gaming these days.

Tablet: Never owned one unless you count Kindles which I use for reading books and nothing else. For reading I prefer E-ink over other screens but otherwise I happy using a cellphone, laptop, desktop and never had a reason for a tablet. I on my second kindle in over a decade. Don't see myself upgrading anytime soon.

VR Device: I targeting upgrading every 5 years bought one in 2016, 2021 and if there one worth buying next year I buy one. Hopefully Valve come out with something new by then.

I have a laptop from work, so that covers my PC needs.
I replace my phone when it starts to crap out so badly that it's not good to use anymore, I guess it would be every 5-7 years or something.
I switch to the next Playstation gen a year or two after the launch. I also have a bad habit of double dipping with the Pro version when it comes out.

Hmm.
Bought my first flat tv in 2011, the next one in 2020, figured it was too small, so got the next one in 2021, still using the old one as a monitor essentially.

Laptop was probably 2008-2012-2016-2019. So have been using the same one since 2019, which is holding up surprisingly well, though had to change a few components, like the battery. Got a desktop PC in 2021, which I still use.

Smart phones: 2015-2017-2018-2021-2022. Really bad track record, but at least my current one has lasted 3 years.

Consoles:
Got a PS5 this year, which is the first console I have bought since 2019 (Xbox One X).

My computers have average of 6 years, though if you exclude the one junk pile I got for free and did get a newer one year and half later (after I got it working steady), the average would be 7½ years.
My practically only phone has been 5 years and considering the battery bulge, I'm thinking of getting next one.
TVs stay in this household as long as they work (and there have been some converter boxes at use).

I upgrade my hardware when it breaks, or when it no longer performs as well as I want it to.

When they quit working.

Though I'll repair/upgrade everything I can until it gets to the point where parts are too hard to find and getting expensive because of it, or until the "next big thing" has then come down in price to affordable levels, then I'll move on with strictly tech based products. Vehicles on the other hand are now far more of a pain with all their tech, so I've been keeping my early 2000's wheels well maintained.
