Phones:
Every 5 to 6 years
iPhone 17 pro Max
iPhone 11
IPhone 6
Cars
Changed Job, Need one now so bought an bought a 2 year old ev hyunday Kona
My wife has one for kids and shopping
Tv
Every couple years a new on which gets shifted around in the house.
For gaming I use a Sony 65 4k
Pc
I Upgrade over Time. So full replacement every 7years roughly
Laptop I don’t use
Tablet
I have an iPad Pro which is now 9 years old and should hold for a couple of years hopefully
Consoles
I typically buy every generation.
For Xbox this generation will be my last, unless they really blow me away with their next console.
I don’t buy Pro versions anymore
Never owned a tablet.
Consoles, if I buy them, I typically get about two into their life cycle. That way, a lot of kinks have been fixed, there's more software, and prices are sometimes a bit lower.
PC - I get/build a new one every 6-7 years or so, but I tend to go all-in so they last and keep up. I last got one a little over two years ago (July of 2023).
TV - I have them for at least 7-8 years, usually. I had my previous one from 2015 to last summer, when I splurged on the 85" Bravia 9 (yes; it's a damn beast, especially for HDR content).
Phones - I have very little interest in phones, and I go for makes and models with simple, unloaded OS variants. I had a Huawei last, I have a OnePlus 9 Pro now, going on four years. I get a new one when the old one is too slow and the battery is too poor. I'm keeping mine for another year or so.
Car - I leased three cars over seven years, but prices increased so much with interest hikes. They also blasted us with taxes here (Stockholm), and increased the number of tool roads and the tolls themselves. When my monthly costs reached almost 1000$ all in all, I called it quits, and I'm now without a car. It works fine, and the price is about 10-12% of my previous lease (including everything).
Smartphone - Haven't upgraded for three years and don't see any reason to do so right now. I used to upgrade more frequently in the past, but these devices are just kinda finished. I don't get anything new from buying a new model. So I will probably rock my Pixel 7 Pro until it dies.
PC - Yearly because of my work and the fact that I can fully dedact it from my taxes, lol
TV - My TV is over 10 years old and still doing fine. I got an OLED Monitor this year though. But all in all, I'd say about 5+ years.
Consoles - Whenever a new one from Nintendo or Sony comes around, but in the case of Nintendo, Variations count. So if a Switch 2 OLED or Switch 2 Lite would release, I would get that. I also got the PS5 Pro after having the OG model, but it was a gift, so not a planned upgrade. I don't know, I think you could say I get an upgrade every 2 years or so.
Car - 10 years at the very least.

Phone - when my phone breaks. I'm quite font of the size and usefulness of the Pixle 4a, so will try and find a good condition one of those when mine breaks.
Tv - Usually upgrade sometime after a console purchase but last time got one because the sound went on my old one. Current 42 Inch OLED... always Samsung.
PC - Laptop, not got space for a full desktop. Again when my last just gives in completely, current is a HP Omen... something, it has a 1050Ti in it. Had it since before the vids.
Consoles, - usually purchase 1 year into gens, although looking less likely in the future.
Don't own Car, don't own Tablets. Infact, I don't think I have any "others either" to upgrade. What else is classed in 'other'?
Hmm, pie.
Not a lot.
In 2017 i bought after i got my driving license a hyendai getz
In 2018 i bought a bmw z3 1.8
And in 2019 i bought a bmw z3 2.8 that i still drive today.
I did had a ps5 but gave it to my GF.
I always buy a phone when mine i broken and they tend to last about 5 years and i just buy one for abou 150 bucks.
I tend to buy a new tv every 3 or 5 years
I usually squeeze as much as I can from my tech. The moment I replace them is whenever they break beyond saving, or they're completely obsolete.
Cars every 10 - 12 years
Phones every 4-5 years
Laptops, PC every 6-7 years (mostly just parts replacements when I can)
Phone whenever T-Mobile offers a free phone, usually every 3 to 5 years. Car I usually get up to about 150k miles before buying a new one. Laptop; every 5 to 6 years. Consoles when they come out, or near launch. TV when my current tv dies., so a long time.
Smartphone: About every 4 to 5 years. I'm only on my third smartphone ever, all run on Android.
Computer: Had a hand me down laptop for about a year then a new cheap one for a year and a half then a new one for over three and a half that began to go after heavy use. Been on a desktop rig for over 4 years now and unless something sudden happens to it I anticipate it should last into 2027.
Car: Only ever owned two used cars, I borrow family vehicles otherwise. My current car that I've had for over a year has issues but I hope it lasts into 2027 or beyond.
Console: Too zigzag of a pattern to really narrow down, as I sometimes get older consoles.
TV: Only bought one TV ever, the rest were hand me downs. I've had it for almost 5 years. I think I have another 2-5 years out of it. It's a 4K HDR Smart TV.
I voted video game consoles as the most important, or at least most important to be up to date. I'd rather be stuck on a Windows 10 and older spec computer for emails, browsing and such than not have a PS5 and Switch 2 yet.
