I disagree. Nintendo’s pumping out Wii ports/remasters for $40-60 (Kirby:RtDL, DKCReturns, SMGalaxy1+2) unlike all other systems. I believe DS is next in-line. Virtual Boy reveals that Nintendo is open to producing accessories to better emulate the feeling of OG system; a dual screen Switch 2 accessory is not an unrealistic reality.

Nintendo is selling NES, SNES, N64 and GC controllers for Switch, so a VB accessory isn't exactly news.

But I doubt a DS accessory will be made. Take a look at the Castlevania Dominus Collection (includes three DS games) and its various options to display two or even three DS screens at once on one screen.

A second screen to emulate DS/3DS seems really expensive just for those games. If they make such an accessory, Nintendo should go all out and let it be supported in Switch 2 games.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 122 million (was 105 million, then 115 million) Xbox Series X/S: 38 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million. then 48 million. then 40 million)

Switch 2: 120 million (was 116 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

Wii is likely coming next but I want DS to come next.

Edit: Could use more SEGA systems as well.

Imagine playing Soulcalibur 1 from Dreamcast.

It could work for Wii U too. I would love if they bring back Nintendo Land and Game&Wario.

But I agree it would be even more awesome if they use this acessory for future games

Wii is far and away the easiest of the remaining platforms, so I think that's next.

For arcade games like Shmups, Pinball games. There is something called Tate mode, and you turn the screen to the side, making it vertical. You would not need a second screen. Just the Switch 2 version of a flip grip. Not my pic but I have a Flip Grip for Switch 1. All it is is a frame that connects to one side of the Switch then you attach your own joycons. The flip grip was $12

With how much revenue and profit Nintendo is making they absolutely could support all their platforms on NSO even with some only supported on Switch 2.

DS has the content I want to play on a big screen.

Switch!!!

What about the Nintendo Color TV-Game Consoles? I’m sure those aren’t hard to emulate.

I'm sure Nintendo would never do it since it sounds like the games were terrible, but it would be cool if they added the CD-I so we can have all Zelda games on the system. Saturn will always be the console I would like to either see added to the Switch online or have Sega just release a mini version loaded with games. I haven't played many Saturn games, only a few games that were on other consoles.

You are better off emulating VB as not only does not need a headset. You can change the colors to whatever you want. I want NSO to add TG16. Saturn and Dreamcast. We have the Genesis. Time for more.

That kind of defeats the purpose. It's a novelty. If you're not going to play it with a headset, you may as just well play better games.

Wrong. Some of those games are quite good, but held back by the shitty system. When you play them on emulators with better colors you find some pretty good experiences. Emulating the eye strain just holds the games back.
