The neatest thing about this was the physical Mario Galaxy storybook.

Also, I never understood why they never released Virtual Boy on 3DS, I mean, that was already 3D.

Yeah, it was a missed oportunity. And you wouldn't even need an actual accessory to make it work. You could have played those games portably, on 3D!

Well, at least the modding community took care of that not too long ago.

He was a horrible person and he had it coming. Now, please let's go back to how stupid we'll all look with that Virtual Boy thingy on our head.

Do you HAVE to have the Virtual Boy thing in order to play the games or was that just a silly optional add-on?

Yeah. It's mandatory. Yeah, it's just as inconvinient as it sounds.

I mean, if you think about it, this is just terrible. You need a NSO + Expansion Pass suscription... and then you have to buy this... thing. And you can't even play on handheld mode (I mean, technically you ARE playing on handheld mode... but I dare you to play with that helmet on a bus or on a train.

Well I cant buy it anyway since Nintendo doesnt ship to my country anymore. Kinda wanted the Galaxy book.

It was a pretty good direct. People that expected a bunch of AAA announcements were going to leave disappointed since the beginning. This kind of directs are only to hype previously announced games before the holiday season, and throw in a couple new announcements for the beginning of the following year. It always have been like that.

Now if the argument is "but I don't like Metroid, nor Mario, nor Resident Evil, nor Dragon Quest, nor RPGs, nor Fire Emblem, nor Pokemon.. (now a very long list of other games shown)" now I can see why you didn't liked the direct.

No way that Virtual Boy acessory is mandatory lol that would be ridiculous, i like it thought, but why not give the option to play anyway you want?

Man, see...this thread is why I don't do forums much anymore. Y'all are so cynical and spiteful and hateful. Eager to be negative and pessimistic.

I don't need this sort of 'everything sucks' energy in my life.

I watched the direct live and was enjoying most of it and thought it was a good direct. Then I come here and like...y'all CRAVE negativity. Seriously. The internet sucks. Seek some joy in your lives, people. Touch grass. If it wasn't for you that's fine but the tone of it all is so dour. I got no time for your aggressive misery.

it wasn't good though and stuff

There was some good stuff announced, but the Direct was not good, not terrible either. It was okay-ish... kinda meh

Sorry, but Mario Tennis is not exactly the new exciting 3D Mario we were hoping for. Third party games will be mostly GKCs, so thats out. The Pokemon game looked like a shitty Switch 1 game. Underwhelming paid DLC for Mario Wonder, DK Bananza and Pokemon Z-A. No Elden Ring. No Splatoon Raiders. No Rhtyhm Heaven Groove. Im sorry, but if you eat up anything Nintendo shits out, then Im sure it was a decent Direct.
