Vinyl for the fun of it, CD's for listening, everything else... meh.

Personally I have a real nostalgic attachment to cassette tapes, as when I was a kid my parents got me one, and I used it to record my favourite video game music off the TV, to make mixtapes of all my favourite songs for us to play in the car, or just recording my thoughts.

I owned a lot of music on CD as well, but the ease of recording on tapes during my childhood, (burning CDs didn't come in til later in my teens) means they hold a lot of my childhood memories.

CDs, 100%. Been collecting since I was a teenager, I still use a discman daily. I use to do tapes too. I’d buy them when I found them cheap and then upgrade to CD when I found it. But now along with every other physical market, overpriced.

Digital, I've been all digital for music for 20+ years.

CDs. They're cheaper and require less maintenance than vinyl. I only buy vinyl on rare occasions, mainly a handful of "essential" albums or releases that didn't get a CD version. They can also have generally better quality than digital. The only reason I have anything to do with digital is because YouTube Music came with the Premium subscription (I despise ads like you wouldn't believe) and I basically use it as a replacement for radio while driving because the radio stations around here suck.

Digital all the way.

I mainly use Apple Music, Nintendo Music, Amazon Music and I use my plex server to host music I cant find anywhere else in that order.

Like with Movies, TV Shows and games, I dont want to deal with clutter and love having access to everything under one device and all at the same time.
