I'm still pissed it's 360 only, but I will definitely get it.
I came through on my prediction.
I unlocked everything in Pub Games exactly 45 minutes before Fable II released!
Hell yeah baby!
109,xxx gold to start with, not bad!

And also a lot seem to depend on your allies doing specific things, which makes them almost impossible to get in a public XBL game. Good job I can play with some of you guys then :p I like these ones: 15. 101 Cremations Set 101 Infected on fire. 25. Zombie Genocidest Kill 53,595 Infected. |
We'll see when it comes out but the first thought that went to my head when I saw them is that Left 4 Dead has the best variety of achievements of any game coming out this year.
I'm falling way behind, I wish I could just will my 360 to get fixed.

For me it's garbage for one simple reason. If I'm interested in expanding my musical horizons, I would do it by getting new music and listening to it at my discretion. Not having 20 preselected random songs from random bands who's musical genres I don't even know. I'll do the experimenting, I don't want to be part of the experiment of throwing crap against the wall and seeing what sticks with people who pay for a $60 game. |
Completely agree with you. If they promise 20 "bonus" songs, I would hope that at least half of them would be established songs, with the rest of it comprised of this kind of indie, "up and coming artist" crap. They already had more than enough "bonus" songs on the disc that I didn't care about, now they're using this "bonus pack" to throw 20 more of them on my hard drive so I can be more frequently annoyed when playing a random set? No thanks. Until now, I'd never really felt ripped off by something that was essentially free.
The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.
Got Fable 2, and am at ~250 GS with about 5 hours into it. I think the achievements are going to be pretty easy. but it's still an awesome game.
The graphics are definitely not its strongest suit, but Lionhead was thorough with the small, intangibles. Early on a guard (the sheriff of old town in bowerstone) started talking to me. I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention so I entered a cellar next to him and when the new area loaded he was yelling at me from off screen for not listening to him. When I went back he acknowledged my return, and picked uyp right where he'd left off.
I also think it's going to be a lot of fun to buy the bar and lower the prices to get the entire town drunk.

Portal: Still Alive Race start!
Oct 22 - Nov 6. Go!

PC, it's where Valve game belongs imo.
About Rock Band... was anyone seriously expecting badass well known songs?? I knew from the get go they would be like the "bonus" tracks in previous GH games and Rock Band 1.
Honestly, I'm kinda glad they aren't existing songs like rumored earlier because then I would end up getting for free what I had already paid for.
SleepWaking, I called you SleepWalker earlier. My bad. I was at work and rushing to post. I don't really care about Fable 2 either, I'm starting to see they are mostly easy achievements. I've decided anyway to just play the game to play the game, not to get achievements... cept for killing a rabbit, I did that and now I fear my "wholesome" character may not get a 100percent good so I'm giving random strangers gifts! lol. But seriously, I waited 2 years for this, I see no need to rush grind anything. Main focus so far has been buying up half of market street in Bowerstone :o)
