689G, nice effort guys.

I was tempted to push on to target 700G but would have had to have played through the game again as there were a few of the simple achievements i was not able to do (sold the sword sigmund gave me / didnt have a suitable save point for the "..to the rescue" achievement.

Really enjoyed the game though. Wasnt a AAA but better than the reviews made out.

Ouch, tough luck there. I developed the habit of never selling equipment in JRPGs, so that should come in handy when I finally get around to crafting that sword. And I can't even bear to think about Capell to the Rescue. It still gives me nightmares almost a month later!

IU is definitely better than I expected from the reviews. A flawed game for sure, but also quite an endearing one. "Dinner! Dinner!"

I started the race very late. Just last Sunday I think, but I promise you this I will have 999G sooner or later.

My 360 keeps freezing. I load it up, sign in to my profile, and then it freezes every time within seconds. It happened about 6 straight times just now and I feel like screaming.

Have you been able to clear the cache?

Try that, I had a friend have some problems with his HD a few weeks ago and this fixed it.  He was having a lot of freezes that started about the time he got Mercenaries 2. 

If not it might be an early sign of RROD :(

It could be some wider Xbox Live problem after that big Live update. I would try to create another profile and see whether that gives the same problems.

A few days ago I didn't think I had a chance to catch badgenome for 1st. The last achievement I unlocked was the "Down to Earth" combo achievement. I finally got it after an hour+ of attempting.  It was realistically the last one I could unlock before yesterday's deadline.  I'm only at 31 hours so the "Time for Glasses?" achievement wasn't going to happen and the remaining skills and item crafting achievements require going fairly deep into the Seraphic Gate.  FWIW, the "Compulsive" and 1g achievement have to rank around the hardest/worst. You're going to see a lot of people stuck with 949g.

Overall I enjoyed IU a lot more than Eternal Sonata. I really started enjoying IU towards the end of disc 1 (about 6 or 7 hours in).  IU's story is a bit of a mess (I found myself skipping some cut scenes), but I liked the amount of party characters and the ability to connect, craft and enchant.  Even though it didn't occur often in the game, having 8 party members in the field at the same time laying waste to enemies was pretty sweet. Having 12 would've been sweeter. Dislikes were: the game's short length (although it has replay value), the smallness of the world, some of the voice-overs (irritating), and the sucky menu system. Almost impossible to bring the menu up during battles and not get your ass kicked.

I give the game an 8/10.

Badgenome is the first member iirc to get 1st place in both Gamerscore and Race! BOOYAH!

Also, @barozi, how the heck did you get Saints Row 2 so fast!! Would be good if you gave us early impressions on the Achievement difficulty :)
