Thoughts on the Epstien situation? It's looking like a large chunk of the 1% are very evil people or adjacent to very evil people and likely knew of the worst of crimes while doing nothing about it. Please feel free to give your thoughts but I'll ask one question...

Should some people be protected. Perhaps redact all non criminals to protect those people? Should the files be released is the majority of the 1% and world leaders are named in there? Even if it were to destroy whole countries?

Personally I see both sides of the argument but sunshine is the best disinfectant. Release everything and let things fall as they may, build it all back up again afterward. Victims first, then the people adjacent to the criminals second.

It's pretty obvious that a lot of very powerful, very influential people are being protected. It all needs to be released, but frankly, at this point...I'm not sure we could ever even fully trust what's put forth. Be it by this administration, or any other. Too much time has passed. Too much opportunity for somebody to alter the files. Or hell...give it just a bit more time and they can literally use AI to fabricate an entirely alternate version of the files. We're not likely to ever see justice truly being served here. I hope I'm wrong. It's clearly some seriously evil shit that went down...but I'm not optimistic that anything productive comes of this.

If it exists, it would be more logical to just investigate and prosecute those who committed such acts. Releasing a list without any of that seems rather pointless.

I don’t think it will destroy countries. It’s important to get these asavages out of their positions of power. Some of these people appear to be pulling crap flinging strings just to distract the media at the expense of hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of lives. There is evidence, witnesses. Prosecutors may not get everyone, but they’ll get a number of them, and perhaps all the worst ones. Some of these people are obvious and shouldn’t be Presidents or powerful countries or wealthy nobility. No one should be above the law in a country intended for the people, Even the ancients turned against tyrants and demagogues all the way back to at least Lucretia. it’s not a product of modernity, it’s a part of our long history of civilized humanity.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Criminals shouldn't be protected.

Release the files.

Is this from Bohemian Grove?  looks like some occultic/ritualistic setting if not.

Anyway, I think that some people were genuinely wanting to connect with other powerful folks and have what we all would consider a good time.  It would seem wrong to unfaily paint them as well.

Also, epstein got exactly what he deserved.  He was a professional/evil troll by arranging these parties and blackmailing whoever came.  He provided the girls and paid their family off to secure them coming.  I don't feel sorry what should be an entry in a modern day version of Aesop's Fables.  Very unwise of him to demand $$$$$ from the rich and powerful or anybody really.

I think that Trump has been implicated in this epstein business, and perhaps it is because of that, that he is wanting to not be an asshole anymore and not help ukraine when good people are dying.  He can't just do whatever evil crap comes to mind and think that the public won't judge him thusly.  So, Zelensky should be smiling at those pictures of trump with epstein since this is what has possibly brought him around.

Redact the names of the victims. Release the information we want.

At this point the investigation been botch weather on purpose or not soo badly that the only way to bring justice to all the victims is release all the information they got, redact and remove information that could identify the victims of sex trafficking but otherwise I want to know every one that went to that island and if a few billionaire reputation is ruined because it was truly a "innocent" trip to island too bad.

Obviously don't arrest and put anyone in jail unless you can prove guilty in front of a court but at this point weather they was directly involved or not it hard for me to believe people that spent time hanging out on the island did not have some idea what was going on so just put all the information out there and let things fall as they will. I usually the last person to believe in conspiracy but there simply no way you can convince me all these rich people was paying epstein insane amount of money to do there taxes.

If there is a list and it's released unredacted, everyone one that list will be held guilty in the eyes of the public opinion. No exceptions. Without a trial of some kind.

The people on such list need to be investigated to find evidence of wrong doings one by one, then get persecuted.

Meaning people on such list where there is no evidence of wrong doings, just being on a list should not be thrown in front of the wolf pack of public opinion.

This.  It's just the same as going to a diddy party.  There were lots of legit folks going, a few bad ones including one evil overlord, and some victims.
