We are close to the halfway point of the year, so question is simple enough, What is your game of the year so far? 

Currently my favorite game from this year is Avowed. I really like Blue Prince but I haven't gotten to play it much lately. Mario Kart World is up there for me as well but I'm still leaning more toward Avowed.

Tempest Rising is currently my GOTY barely nudging out Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Raidou Remastered is a close second.

However there is a lot left this year I am getting. Lost Soul Aside. Digimon Time Strangers. Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion. DQ 1-2 HD2D. Ninja Gaiden Ragebound but the game I am most looking forward to is Ninja Gaiden 4 and that has the best chance to unseat NGIIB for me. 

Mario Kart World for sure.

I have a feeling mine will be Donkey Kong Bananza.

I'm a huge Mario Kart fan so Mario Kart World for me. I love free roam and knockout tour especially although the latest patch did sour online racing for me.

So far, it's between Mario Kart World and Split Fiction, but I still need to get around to Monster Hunter Wilds, and DK Bananza looks like it will be a contender as well.

I think I’ve played like … 4 games released this year out of the 27 I’ve completed 😅. I’ll say Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Lies of P DLC real close behind it tho, it was excellent.

Expedition 33, not really a contest, not only because it's the only new game I've bought this year but because it was just that good.

My only issue, I'm reluctant to play it again, only because of a petty narrative issue. :P
